My name is Victor Ben Eke. I am currently a student at Thompson Rivers University. I offer a major in communication and digital journalism and a minor in Marketing. I am passionate about creating stories that resonate with audiences,  and drive meaningful engagement. so far, my entire schooling journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in crafting quality and flawless research in communication and critical thinking, marketing strategies, public relation, digital communication, and content creation. I have skills in writing compelling sales copies, analyzing market trends, and utilizing social media platforms to build brand awareness.

Through out the course of my studies , I’ve gained practical experience in conducting interviews, designing marketing campaigns, conducting  research, and analyzing of critical written materials. These experience has sharpened my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which enables me to approach projects with a result oriented mindset. A time i applied my critical thinking and analysis  skill was when i analyzed and responded to an article by joseph Boyden concerning his indigenous identity from my Collective and Connective Indigenous Voices class. on doing so, i evaluated Boyden’s evidence, considered the context at which he claimed indigenous, explored assumptions, looked into the biases in the article , and asses arguments.

My interests lies on digital marketing, brand storytelling, communication research conduction and public relations, and I am excited to explore how emerging technologies like AI and data analytics are shaping the future of communication and marketing. I am also deeply committed to sustainability and social responsibility, always looking for opportunities to integrate these values into my work. I have used several contents to narrate a story or to sell a brand idea to people while working with DEDE an African store in Kamloops. These contents yielded customers engagements and kept them updated on arrival of new products.

What makes me unique as a communicator is my genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn about new trends. I am always seeking meaningful connections and relationships with people ahead of me. I’m eager to continue growing in the field, and I’m excited to bring my skills and creativity to new challenges in communication and marketing. my uniqueness as a communicator usually is revealed during periods i am unclear about something and need some more clarifications. it is expressed during times i attend office hours after the normal class period. I go extra miles to get clarification on the course work we cover during class period. Also, when carrying out group projects i tend to lead the projects, coordinate and make sure everyone is reaching their expected goal for the projects success.
